Ingredients QTY UOM
Clams 500 g
Water for boiling
Olive Oil 2 tbsp.
Diced celery 1/4 cup
Diced carrots 1/4 cup
Diced onions 1/4 cup
Chopped Garlic 1/2 tbsp.
Chopped parsley 2 tbsp.
Flour 1 tbsp.
Clam Stock/Water 2 cups
Medium-sized potato, cubed 1
Gran Cucina Cooking Cream 1/2 cup
Salt (to taste)
Pepper (to taste)


  1. Boil clams until they open. Set aside the clams and clam juice. Once the clams are cool enough to handle, remove the clam meat from the shell and chop it. Set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and sauté celery, carrots, onions, garlic, and parsley.
  3. Add flour and cook until lightly browned.
  4. Gradually pour in clam stock, whisking continuously until it thickens.
  5. Stir in potatoes and simmer until the potatoes are tender.
  6. Pour in the cooking cream and mix until well incorporated.
  7. Season with salt and pepper.
  8. Add the clam meat before serving.
  9. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve.
