This Beef Shawarma Recipe is inspired by the Middle Eastern shawarma with the preference of Filipino.This dish lets you enjoy a balanced mix of turmeric rice, cucumber salad and garlic yogurt sauce made according to your liking.

For the beef:

For the tumeric rice:

For the garlic-yogurt sauce:

Mayo | 1/4 | cup |
Yogurt | 1/4 | cup |

For the cucumber salad:

STEPS
For the rice:
- Heat oil in pan over medium flame.
- Add in turmeric powder and cooked rice. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Mix well.
For the beef:
- Pan fry beef over medium heat until browned.
- Once brown, push meat to one side of the pan. Saute onion and garlic.
- Season with cumin powder, paprika and turmeric powder. Saute for 2 minutes and set aside.
For the yogurt sauce:
- Combine mayonnaise, yogurt, grated garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Mix everything until well combined.
To assemble:
- Put rice on one side of the plate. Then beef and salad on the other side.
- Drizzle some the garlic-yogurt sauce on top of the rice. Enjoy.
