WHAT YOU'LL NEED

FOR THE MOZZARELLA STICKS:

INGREDIENT QUANTITY UOM
EURO CHEF MOZZARELLA CHEESE BLOCK (cut into 1/4 or 1/3 sticks) 1 piece
All-purpose flour 1/4 cup
Eggs, beaten 2-3 piece
Bread Crumbs 2 cup
TO TASTE: Salt & Pepper
TO TASTE: Italian Seasoning
AS NEEDED: Oil (for frying)

 

FOR THE MARINARA SAUCE:

 INGREDIENT QUANTITY UOM
DOLCE VITA PURE OLIVE OIL 1 tbsp
Onions, chopped 1 tbsp
Garlic, minced 1 tsp
MAZZA TOMATO SAUCE WITH BASIL 400G 1/2 cup

 

PROCEDURE:

  1. Season bread crumbs with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning and garlic powder. Set aside
  2. Lightly dredge cheese in all-purpose flour then dip in beaten eggs.
  3. Individually dredge cheese in prepared bread crumbs. Freeze for 2 hours
  4. Deep-fry mozzarella @350F/176.6C  pre-heated oil, for 1 minute or until golden brown.

FOR THE MARINARA/PIZZA SAUCE DIP:

  1. Sauté onions and garlic in olive oil until fragrant.
  2. Add pizza sauce, simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Turn off heat and add basil leaves.
