FOR THE MOZZARELLA STICKS:

EURO CHEF MOZZARELLA CHEESE BLOCK (cut into 1/4 or 1/3 sticks) | 1 | piece |
All-purpose flour | 1/4 | cup |
Eggs, beaten | 2-3 | piece |
Bread Crumbs | 2 | cup |
TO TASTE: Salt & Pepper | ||
TO TASTE: Italian Seasoning | ||
AS NEEDED: Oil (for frying) |
FOR THE MARINARA SAUCE:
INGREDIENT | QUANTITY | UOM |
DOLCE VITA PURE OLIVE OIL | 1 | tbsp |
Onions, chopped | 1 | tbsp |
Garlic, minced | 1 | tsp |
MAZZA TOMATO SAUCE WITH BASIL 400G | 1/2 | cup |
PROCEDURE:
- Season bread crumbs with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning and garlic powder. Set aside
- Lightly dredge cheese in all-purpose flour then dip in beaten eggs.
- Individually dredge cheese in prepared bread crumbs. Freeze for 2 hours
- Deep-fry mozzarella @350F/176.6C pre-heated oil, for 1 minute or until golden brown.
FOR THE MARINARA/PIZZA SAUCE DIP:
- Sauté onions and garlic in olive oil until fragrant.
- Add pizza sauce, simmer for 5 minutes.
- Turn off heat and add basil leaves.
