Oil (for deep frying)
Lemon Pepper 1 tsp
Cumin 1 tsp
Garlic Powder 1/2 tsp
Onion Powder 1/2 tsp
Oregano 1/2 tsp
Coriander 1 tsp
Chicken Powder 1 tsp
Paprika 1 tsp
Sugar 1/2 tsp
Black Pepper 1/2 tsp
Chicken Leg/Thigh 8 pcs
All Purpose Flour (as needed)
Cornstarch 1 tbsp
Eggs 2 pcs



  1. Pre-heat the deep fryer for 5-15 minutes or until it reaches 350oF.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine: Lemon Pepper, Cumin, Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Oregano, Coriander, Chicken Powder, Paprika, Sugar, and Black Pepper.
  3. Rub the mixed spices on the chicken, and let it marinate for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour and cornstarch. 
  5. Coat the chicken in the flour mixture and beaten egg, then coat again with the flour mixture.
  6. Deep fry for 8-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
