​WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
INGREDIENT QUANTITY UOM
Happy Barn Fresh Milk 1/8 cup
Mazza Pumpkin Cream 1 can
Extra Virgin Olive Oil 1 tbsp
Butter 1 tbsp
White Onion, chopped 1 tbsp
Garlic, grated 1 clove
Flour 2 tbsp
Cream 1 tbsp
Broth or Water 1/2 cup
To taste: Salt & Pepper


STEPS:

  1. Over medium heat, in a heavy bottom pan, add olive oil and butter. When oil and butter is hot, add chopped onions. Cook until softened.
  2. Add in grated garlic. Cook for 2 minutes.
  3. In the same pot, add flour. Stir until well combined. Pour in the broth, stirring constantly as it slightly thickens.
  4. Add Mazza Pumpkin Puree. Mix well. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Add in milk and cream.
  6. Stirring occasionally until soup simmers. Do not boil.
  7. Serve with crusty bread.
