Tomato Cream Soup

Dolce Vita Extra Virgin Olive Oil 1 tbsp
Dolce Vita Tomato Sauce with Basil 1 2
Bacon (chopped) 2 tbsp
Onion (chopped) 1 tbsp
Garlic (chopped) 1 tsp
Chicken Stock 1/4 cup
Happy Barn Fresh Milk 1/4 cup
Gran Cucina Cooking Cream 1/4 cup
Salt & pepper



  1. Heat olive oil and render bacon in a pot over medium low heat until brown and crispy. 

  2. Stir in the garlic and onion and saute for 3 minutes.

  3. Add the flour and cook until paste-like consistency.

  4. Pour in the tomato sauce and stir.

  5. Add the stock and fresh milk then season with salt and pepper.

  6. Add cream and basil and simmer for 20 minutes. 

  7. Puree using an immersion blender until smooth and return to the pot and bring to a simmer.

  8. In a soup bowl, ladle in tomato soup, drizzle with cream and sprinkle with chopped basil.

  9. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
